The foam material is washable and should be rinsed thoroughly after each use. This filter is not a replacement for your vacuum's original filter, but is an optional accessory for use during wet pick-up. It is compatible with WORKSHOP 5-16 gallon shop vacuums (excluding the WS0500VA model).
